Rosso di Montalcino

A pure and authentic expression of Sangiovese Grosso, the Rosso di Montalcino by Tenuta Friggiali is born on the southwestern slopes of Montalcino. Here, at altitudes ranging from 250 to 450 meters, the vines thrive in galestro soils of exceptional viticultural vocation.

Following six months of aging in 60-hectoliter Slavonian oak casks and a further six months in the bottle, the wine reveals an intense and luminous ruby red in the glass. On the nose, it seduces with aromas of ripe red fruits, violet, and delicate mineral notes. The palate is captivated by its immediate juiciness, supported by silky, velvety tannins that lead toward an elegant finish of ripe cherry.
A wine of extraordinary drinkability, it is destined to enhance white meats and fresh cheeses—the perfect companion for refined yet effortless dining.
